Fundación MAPFRE makes additional donation in Chile to the Air Force clinical hospital
Fundación MAPFRE has delivered new equipment to Chile to help fight against COVID-19. Specifically, the aid includes 10 humidifiers with integrated flow generators, 6,000 masks, 5,000 gowns and 1,000 plastic face shields for the Chilean Air Force clinical hospital.
Carlos Molina, Chairman of the Board of Directors, José Oscar Ortega, representative of Fundación MAPFRE in Chile, and Yasmery Morales, Head of Human Resources in the country, were present at the delivery.
Prior to this, another donation was made in the country to supply nursing homes and workers with protective equipment. In total, more than 345,000 euros is being donated to help Chile cope with the spread of the pandemic.
These donations are part of Fundación MAPFRE’s international program worth 35 million euros across 27 countries. The program contributes to the costs of creating field hospitals, purchasing protective equipment, and supplying and/or manufacturing ventilators, medical supplies and medical equipment.
