Almost 30,000 C-reactive protein (CRP) tests to help the Dominican Republic
Fundación MAPFRE and Centro Financiero BHD León have delivered the first batch of 28,000 CRP diagnostic confirmation tests used in detecting COVID-19 in the Dominican Republic.
Donating these tests aims to assist in the free diagnosis of the people of the Dominican Republic and is part of Fundación MAPFRE’s social action programs worldwide.
The first delivery comprised 3,840 tests and the rest of the donation will be distributed in the coming weeks, depending on the shipping capacity of the international laboratory from which they were purchased.
“The involvement of the private sector in the delivery of health solutions in the face of the state of national emergency is an initiative that contributes to leveling opportunities for all,” explained Zaida Gabas de Requena, a Fundación MAPFRE representative in the Dominican Republic.
