MAPFRE AM launches new website
MAPFRE AM, MAPFRE’s asset manager, has unveiled a new website to showcase its efforts in the field of sustainable finance and bring access to its products to a wider audience. The new website (www.mapfream.com) will serve as a calling card for current participants and potential investors as well as the broader public interested in financial news and information on asset management. It will also include detailed information on the fund manager’s strategies and main products.
MAPFRE’s Forgotten Value Fund is up 20% since the start of 2021
Since its debut in 2019, the fund created by MAPFRE’s asset manager and Boyar Value Group has established itself as one of the benchmark funds in its sector. Insurance Asset Risk analyzes the performance of the MAPFRE AM US Forgotten Value fund so far this year, the investment philosophy of which is rooted in the quest for those securities that have been “forgotten” or ignored by the market.
MAPFRE is honored at the El Economista Awards as the share with the most-improved recommendation
On the occasion of the presentation of the 7th edition of El Economista’s Valor a Fondo awards, Fernando Mata, CFO and member of the Board, collected the trophy for the “Share that has most improved its recommendation”. Since the beginning of the year, MAPFRE shares have appreciated by 22 percent, comfortably outperforming the growth of the Spanish stock market’s benchmark index, the IBEX35.

MAPFRE AM launches clean and institutional classes for selected funds
The Group’s asset management unit has introduced new fund classes: clean share classes, available for all products, and institutional classes, aimed at a specific group of vehicles. Fundspeople magazine reports on this initiative, which also plans to involve and support MAPFRE Gestión Patrimonial’s discretionary management service for its own funds.
