MAPFRE, the top insurer in Spain’s Merco Talento 2020 ranking

MAPFRE is the number one non-industrial company in the ranking and the number one financial services company. In addition, it remains in the Top 10 general classification, improving one position in terms of the companies people want to work for.

MAPFRE has been ranked as the top insurer in the Merco Talento 2020 study, which rates the 100 best companies at attracting and retaining talent in Spain. Indeed, MAPFRE has climbed up one position in the general classification to occupy ninth place, reasserting itself as one of the most sought-after companies to work for.

Merco Talento analyzes the different aspects that determine how good a company is at attracting and retaining talent: internal reputation, employer brand and working environment.

This 15th edition of the study assessed the opinions of over 39,600 people from a range of different groups, including employees of large companies, Human Resources managers, students from business schools and universities, the general population and experts, and used people management benchmarking.
This year, MERCO has also recognized the companies that have shown the greatest ability to attract talent over the past 15 years, with MAPFRE occupying 13th place.

MAPFRE can add this recognition to others it has received in Spain, such as our inclusion in the list of Top Employers last January.
