MAPFRE strengthens its sales agreement with Banco Pichincha

MAPFRE has recently formed a strategic alliance with Banco Pichincha in Colombia to further consolidate its growth strategy. It will sell the bank’s insurance products for three years under this agreement.

The offer will include insurance for unemployment, temporary disability, accidents resulting in serious injuries, to be sold on all of the bank’s lines of credit. It will later also cover accident insurance with MAPFRE Assistance, as well as Group Life, homeowner, SME and digital portfolio (automobile and SOAT [Seguro Obligatorio de Accidentes de Tráfico — compulsory traffic accidents insurance]) products.

This new agreement strengthens the commitment of both companies, enabling them to develop joint strategies that drive their growth and development in the country.

MAPFRE has been operating in Colombia for 33 years, and now boasts a network of 105 offices and a workforce of close to 1,000 employees as well as more than 6,000 indirect collaborators.
